Have anyone know Intel /AMD CPU design ? use CMOS 0.13um process
how to 3GHz clcok ? or real clock is 1.5GHz use rise/fall edge trig on ALU?
or use 750MHz dual clock * 2 edge on ALU ??
I ever heard Via CPU use "static CMOS cell" in 0.13um process only 1GHz
(pipeline statge =11) and Via CPU can not over 2GHz on CMOS cell limit & pipeline depth .. Pentium4 have 20 stage (K7 = 7 stage ??)

Exact!!!

The real clock is only 1.5GHz. The call the ALU double pumped. The delay is what makes the AMD faster at regular code.

cpu clock history !!

a long time a 6800 1 mhz = 5 mhz 8088 !! ( exemple the same time for execute one * nop )

after 486dx25 = similar speed equivalent to a 6800 5 mhz ???

after a 486dx2- 66 ( 2 cpu ) equivalent to one or two cpu to ???
not run exactly at same time , pipeline ... speed is ???

after after after ....the history continue

the cpu speed by intel or Amd is only a bad pub information !!!

similar problems with loudspeakers : at this time a little 10 centimeters diameter is given for 100 or 200 or 300 or 500 watts !!!!
