speed sensor and controller

1. DSP-Based Controller
i. TMS320F2812 eZdsp platform
ii. Code Composer Studio IDE

2. Method of Speed Control
i. V/f open loop control (Variable Voltage Variable Frequency)
ii. No feedback

Hye. I'm trying to control a 3ph ac induction motor motor using the DSP-based controller using the v/f control method. I've already have the code for the v/f control method, but it is an open loop control. Thus, to improve the control method, it needs to have a velocity feedback (closed loop), and I'm thinking on using a tachogenerator as the speed sensor for the motor.

But I'm stuck in developing the code for the feedback and integrating it with the v/f control code that I have. Can somebody help me?I'm lost..

Review:
1. The desired speed is entered from the keyboard into the digital controller.
2. The controller also recieves the converted output signal of the tachogenerator.
3. The error signal is calculated by the controller by subtracting the tachogenerator reading from the desired speed.
4. A D/A converter is then used to convert the signal into analog form and feed the power amplifier.
5. The power amplifier then drives the motor.
