Synplify on Linux

I nee to some help installing synplify on linux.

I installed synplify 7.1 on Red Hat 7.1.

The following message printed.

"synplify: line 147: 10169 ??? $SYN_HOMEDIR/$PLATFORM/mbin/$SYNPRGM $SYN_ARGS"

How can I solve it ?

I installed in on redhat 7.3 using 24 bit display - it ran fine but I tried to display it on a different computer with 16 bit display - it gave the same message as you got.

So - I suppose, it couldn't accept 16 bit display . Don't take my word for this - it's just my observation...

Is it true that Syplicity pro 7.2 is for FPGA, and Syplicity 7.2 is for ASIC?

ASIC/FPGA

Please take a look at:
**broken link removed**
ASIC soultion(s)
1. $ynplify ASIC: logic synthesis
FPGA soultion(s)
1. $ynplify & $ynplify Pr0: FPGA synthesis
