bf medital

Dear all,

May I know if anyone here is familiar with the safety requirement standard for Medical type BF (EN60601) device? Wat is the minimum insulation voltage a Class II BF medical device needs to meet? 1.5kV? or 4kV? If say, the medical device is put on arm and then connected to a computer by using its own adapter via RS232/USB port. Wat should the insulation voltage in between of the computer and the medical device in order to protect the user?

Thanks,
Eric
