cosmos scope linux install

Hi all:
I am a learner for installing the Analog environment.
I download the CosmosScope_V-2004.03_linux.bin file.
Excute it &setup , but I cant't invoke it ..... so poor
I can't find the Scope or csscope file . why ??

8O 8O

cosmoscope window install

It's likely that the .bin file you have must be burnt into a CD. You can use that feature from Nero burning software or such (burn from image)

installing cosmosscope

Search the installed CosmosScope dir and find the "cscope" executable. That's it. You probably need to set the SNPSLMD_LICENSE_FILE or AILM_LICENSE_FILE environments as well.

cosmos scope for linux

Of course you need to contact the synopsys sale rep to get a license file for this tool.

the .bin file is usually not for burning into CD, and normally executed directly.
may need to chmod +x to make it executable..

cosmos scope linux download

double click cosmos...bin ! the install processing is similar to it in windows

cosmos scope

I have met the same problem. My system is RH AS3.0. I have changed the Cos***Scope_****_linux.bin as an executable file. After running it, the xterm terminal shows:
"InstallShield Wizard
Initializing InstallShield Wizard...
..........................
..........................
..........................
..........................
..........................",
then simply exit to the xterm without any messages or having installed something.
I have tried this with a normal user account or even the root account. Is this something to do with the "JVM" ? In my system, I have installed the "Blackdown Java JRE1.4.2". What's wrong with my system when installing this stuff ? Eagerly for your kindly answer.

Thanks a lot!

I have met the same problem. My system is Slackware 10.1. After running it, the xterm terminal shows:

then simply exit to the xterm without any messages or having installed something.
