I need <1volt output from 1V-15volt max input for my sound card.I tried to control the output via a pot,no success.(The input wave need to stay the same,it's for a pc-scope)
Could you please post a schamatic.

Thanks in advance

1-15volt AC Input (max)---[variable resistor or ]-----output of 0-1volt AC (max) [circuit wanted for this part]

NB:Input wave must stay the same!

Sorry to ask...
What's the relation between '<1volt output', '1V-15volt max input', and 'sound card'? Don't really get your meaning. Pls elaborate more, better if you could provide a schematic diagram.

Do you mean the input varies from 1-15V? Do you mean the output must be within 0-1V? For example, if the input is 15V, the output is 1V. If the input is 1V, the output is 1/15 volt.

Where is the '1V-15V' from? May be the '1V-15V' source impedance is too big. Probably you need an op-amp (high input impedance) to help.

The simplest solution is a voltage divider.
(Ex. 150k/10k would give a 15:1 ratio).
Depends on how sensitive you want to
be to low-level signals.

I beleive what you are looking for is a audio compressor / limiter circuit.
Audi compressor's / limiters are often used for microphones etc. to output a constant ac voltage level from a variable input level.
Try to google for "audio compressor" or "compressor amplifier" or "microphone compressor" or "audio limiter" or similar.
Try to look at these devices for example:

SSM2166 - Complete Microphone Conditioner in a 14-Lead Package with Variable Compression & Noise Gating

SSM2167 - Low Voltage Microphone Preamplifier with Variable Compression & Noise Gating:
