hi,
i am working on a project in which i am using an evaluation board for measuring currents, voltages, power, frequency etc. evaluation board will be coupled to a master to scan values and display them.i am coupling evaluation board with three phase lines through voltage and current sensors. if i want to multiplex several three phase lines i.e. 9 lines or six lines to be multiplexed to a single board and at one time three phase lines will be given to the evaluation board, hence i have to use n is to 3 multiplexer or maybe some other setup. another option is to use separate evaluation board for each three phase input and then interface all slaves to a single master. i am confused what to do?which option is better and why? plz reply soon

multiplexing will economy hardware (save money for PCB), but sampling delay between signals have to be taken into account during sofware design (spend money for programmist). If task have to be solved by minimizing a man efforts, then better to forget about multiplexing.
