hello..i`m new in this forum..

I also need to clarify that my English not good enough..:D

here, i want some opinion about my project..

i want to develop and design car engine starter via infrared using mobile phone as a remote control..

i will use the PIC 16F877..can anyone help me..

RF will be a better idea to do so...Most cars` security systems and contactless keys works on RF...U can use a simple RF module (half-duplex) to transmist the action from a module to the target car....then use whatever controller u wanna use to start the engine or turn on lights on anything so....

To sense the car engine start up u must also read the current pulses generated by the spark coil to calculate rpms....

Most cars on starting i.e when self motor turn engine rotate abt 100rpms and when the engine start the rpm goes around 800...called ideal rpms...
