antenna electroplating

Hi,

Can somebody tell me what type of material is to be used for the electroplating of a space qualified antenna. It is to be done on the inner as well as on the outer side of the antenna.

Regards

antenna by electroplating

The plating is a lightweight process, and change nothing on mass, or vibration resistance.
It's imortant the metal adhesion over the specified temperature range, radiation resistance (a problem for plastics) etc.
I've seen a space qualified, metal plated, Carbon Fiber, waveguide, but it was more exoctic than functional.
