I am going to start building some home automation systems and one of the first elements is the light dimmer. Because I want to avoid modifying wiring as much as possible I will place several multichannel dimmers located in key places.

Each dimmer is going to be multichannel, typically 2 or 4, with a maximum load of 200W per channel and the mains is 220V/50Hz. Do I need to use an inductor filter(100uH) for each channel, or can I use one for all the channels rated at higher current?
Using a single inductor is better in terms of costs and also of space.

Thanks!
