Hi everyone. I intend to design a solenoid having the following specs :
winding length(l) = 300 mm,
number of turns(N) = 30
area of cross section (A) = 30*60 mm^2
core material (ferrite) relative permeability = 1000
Inductance calculated by the formula L = u*N^2*A/l is giving the value of around .007 H,
but the simulated and post processed inductance is coming around .00016 H. I have attached the Maxwell file. Where am i going wrong ? Kindly look into it if possible.
