HI!

we have an application where
we want to generate 2 cycles of sinewave after that some time gap with no signal..this should repeat.....

we want to select DDS device for it.....i am new to DDS ...just reading theory now.....
can anybody can suggest how it can be implemented....

Main formula on which all these implemented is
Fout = (Tuning Word(M))x(Ref Clk)/(2^N);

another thing Look up table...whether we need provide lookup table for conversion then what is the difference between the normal DAC and a DDS..because if i give lookup table or else values to DAC it will also generate the signals required....

Thanking you,

waiting for reply..
