Hi Friends,

Can you please tell me if there is any institution in India which conducts Short Term Courses on ASIC Back-End Flow and give exposure to the latest tools being used in the industry. A course that covers Layout, Place & Route, Verification, Cross Talk, STA etc.. upto final tapeout.

i think the vedant is the best one b'coz now its under the ISRO and its a fully Govt. enterprise.

TIIT of hyderabad offers backend course using Cadence tools and u will get certification from university of california and cadence design systems.

Vedant is the best but even CDAC offers a very good course with exposure to both Cadence and Synopsis tools. CDAC Pune is considered the best of all centers for VLSI.

Veda IIT courses are good and they have M.S courses too, but lot of people joining the courses are absorbed with in the company to do internal projects wiht 2-3 yrs bond

About TIIT they offer good short term courses, and they place outside their campus too. So should be a good option

Sandeepaain and vedant again are good too and they have good contacts in Bangalore, so good chances of placement

Anywhere the chances of placement are just 50-60% max per batch, nothing more than that.

HI! I thonk that vedaiit and sandeepani are the best institutes for vlsi training(back end). cdac pune is dealing only with front end though it has mentioned backend syllabus in website

Don't ever go to all of these institutes u better go to RV VLSI they are providing synopsis, cadence, mentorgraphics tools and u will get lot of exposure......
And don't ever go to TIIT ,Sandeepani and Vedant instead of that u can go to RV VLSI or CDAC that will be better
and if u want the details of RV VLSI then search in google just type RV VLSI in google u will come to know the details

A lot of schools have come out with a need to expose the fresh graduates to the industry challenges. Where ever you go, just make sure you have the access to the eda tools that match industry standards.

I have heard of Vedanta as an established institute.
