Hi,

I'm trying to import my company's logo to layout (pcb editor), but it is being complicated.

  • PCB Editor:
    • Logo is already converted to dxf format.
    • Import works fine (File->Import->DXF).
      • Components are properly assigned to layers (silkscreen top).
    • Logo is imported but is huge.

How can I redimensioning the logo? Is it neccesary to do it before import action?

Regards.

Yes you need to fix the size before importing it.

Open the DXF in a DXF editor (i.e. Autocad) and scale it down in size.
Also and filled shapes - unfill them and then refill them in ORCAD as filled shapes would come in as having lots of lines to fill which can slow the display.

Thanks both!

I have modified the logo at autocad, and then imported.

It is not a friendly tool but it works.

I think ORCAD is a user friendly tool. May be you felt little bit tough while using it I guess
