RTP/RTSP HELP NEEDED

Hello all,
I wish to know the implementation of streaming protocols (RTP/RTSP). I'm from DSP background. I have very little knowledge in networking fundas. I find it difficult to interpret the standards. Also the codes available in internet are not to the point. I tried with linphon. It contains thousands of lines and hundreds of files. No clue where to start where to end. More of abstractions.
Can you help me with some good funda books and some code which is less complex [Preferably C code with to-the-point implementation].

Re: RTP/RTSP HELP NEEDED

Sure, the code of linphone is not so easy to understand!
I can suggest you some tutorials and libraries, from which you can read some simple examples.
try with jrtplib, or ccrtp.

try java JMF and JMF/RTP. U can study from that..
