I've been loking for a VHDL tutorial about Implementation of Artificial Neural Networks in VHDL, but I I haven't been successful. I need some help.

Look for the textbook :-

VHDL: A logic Synthesis Approach by Naylor and Jones (Chapman and Hall)

in your library. The book introduces VHDL and uses a toriodal NN as an example.

Beetroot Do you know if there is an electronic version of this book?

does anyone have VHDL sources of this.

Thanks Beetroots, but I don't have that book, like eltonjhon asked, do you know where can I find an electronic version of that example, at least?

The process is similar to any digital design using VHDL. However, you may have to carry out algorithm modifications to simplify the hardware. Some issues that are relevant to ANN implementation in hardware:

(a) algorithm to architecture mapping

(b) algorithm simplification for harware mapping

(c) target tech...FPGA or custom ASIC

a good source would be IEEE journals on previous projects. It would come under the IEEE proceeding for neural networks. Search under the "N" category.
