Hi there!

I am willing to learn image processing and want to achieve a target (i.e. Color ball recognition) by a robot using MATLAB. I know PIC and Atmel programming, C, C++, but zero in MATLAB. So anyone please guide me how i start and through what milestones, so that within 1 year of complete dedicated hardwork i could achieve my Goal :)

Also i am going to take course of MATLAB in my vocations (2 months later).
Thanks
CHulla

See in order to develop the system of robet using image processing .... you need to learn more on image processing fundamental and then object reconginization models....Matlab is used in PC for image analysis ....so in the embeeded system u want to have a system with image processing better meke some prtatice of matrix handeling in C .....will be help ful also us need to know the image transfer protocol ( like PTP) and their implementation in Micro-controller....Matworks web site is good for Matlab and there is good help provided on the web....u can try some of the commands like imread and imashow initially to work with matlab....
