I need to work on a small scale ASIC design project this semester. I am thinking of doing a small scale complete application for some thing . Projects i recently did were like
implementation of map deocder and AES crypto processor but were either full custom or FPGA based.
I have Mentor, Cadence , synopsys tools available on hand. Any idea would be welcome. Just write whatever comes to your mind as first thought.
