[General] Ideal NOR Flash memory specifications for a Set Top Box Application

Hi .. I am designing a set top box that uses a NOR flash for both data and program storage. 32 MBit should be good enough. There are plenty of devices out there with different parameter ranges. I am wondering if someone can point me in the right direction as far as features are concerned - Erase cycles, read latency etc
 

Hi,

I don't think there is an "ideal NOR Flash".

The usual way is to first decide your requirements, then do a search for a suitable device.
