IC5141 on Solaris 10 (SPARC)

Hi everybody,

We recently acquired two workstations Sun Ultra 45 with Solaris 10 Operating System (that's the only OS the machine supports) . We installed IC5141 USR1 using InstallScape and it works, but with a really slow performance. We're using Java Desktop System Release 3 as user desktop, but we noticed the same problem when we choose CDE. As an example, when we move the screen on Schematic Composer using the keyboard arrows, we have to wait a long time (about 4 or 5 seconds) until we get each movement done. Does anybody know if this slow performance is related to the new version of the Operating System? Has anybody had the same issue?

Hello again,

We just found out that the problem is not related to the OS, but to the graphics board configuration of the Sun workstations.
