I am looking for IBIS model for SMD 0603 resistor 100 Ohm. The file should be in .ibs. Where can I found the model file ?

There could be occasion for you to make your own IBIS
model for a passive element. Or you could be too literal
minded. If this is (say) about a LVDS or similar physical
layer, and its termination, are you convinced that an IBIS
analysis will show you differential signaling care-abouts
even if you made an I, V correct representation of the
through-resistance?

Or, are you in fact using SPICE with IBIS-derived subcircuit
models (at the end of the tool-chain) in which case a SPICE
resistor might be the done thing?

Yes exactly, this is 100 Ohm termination resistor used in LVDS traces on the PCB. The signal integrity software ask for IBIS model as the nets are connected to the 100 Ohm termination resistor. How to get it ?

I don't know your software but I think there are two options.
Maybe three. One is to find an IBIS-format model for such an
element. That's asked here, but maybe a search engine has
more for you.

Second is to see if the SI tool (which may well sit atop a SPICE
engine) can accept a SPICE resistor element card instead. It
may be set up to pass those through.

Third is to find any kind of IBIS pin model which in fact has
a "through" behavior - in my little reading about IBIS over the
years, I have only seen "drive" and "loading" described, and no
"A to B by way of R" kind of description. But I have only looked
at "beginner" docs aimed at "how do I make an IBIS format
model from simulation results", not the other way 'round.
