I have done a firmware using Rabbit processor 3000 and sending data at 10mbps.now i want to send the data with 100mbps speed and i dont want to change the mechanical design or PCB Size.i.e connectors shud remain same(MAC Jack).

Re: Rabbit processor

OK, What is your question?

Re: Rabbit processor

Rabbit3010 cannot support 100mbps...how can i replace it with my restrictions in PCB and mechanical design?

Re: Rabbit processor

You have to change your design then. If you are lucky, you can find a successor with 100% pin matching.

Rabbit processor

i thought of using 5700 but the MAC jack is not matching.i am ready to change my design but not my connectors.there is where lies my problem.

Re: Rabbit processor

Well, if it is only the MAC connector, it is a low price for the change.
You have to do a cost-benefit analysis to reach your decision.

Rabbit processor

it is not price but compatibility which worries me.

Re: Rabbit processor

This is interpreted as a price as well.
