i tried to program PIC 18f4520 with JDM serial programmer from my desktop but got some errors how to solve it!!
 

pretty sure it will never work.
try an icd 2 or 3 programmer via usb a jdm is way too old for a pic18
good luck.
 

The Aux pin or PGM is used???

Send the schematic of programmer!!!

Try too the WINPIC800 or another programmer software.

Ops!!! I cannot see the image on my smartphone.
