hi, i have been trying to build something similar to these vids, but they just dont seem to work

i was thinking maybe its the diodes, so if you guys have a trusted go to store that you would like to recommend then please dont hesitate to do so.

i was also thinking maybe an antenna can help, like these:

i even wanted to buy it, but due to the pandemic their payment method got screwed

so any form of advice, comments, suggestions, violent reactions will be appreciated. thank you

There's diodes, and there's diodes. Many are
not going to be useful as RF energy harvesting
devices at cell band frequencies - roughly
900MHz and 2.5GHz. A diode meant for sub-MHz
power supply applications could look like a
lousy capacitor at these frequencies. A RF
Schottky might do better, also letting you pull
current at a lower Vf (which is directly, RF
amplitude as captured by whatever is acting
as the antenna).

To which point, there's neither an antenna
nor a decent ground to be seen. It would be a
matter of luck if your "loop antenna" was a
fortunate multiple of the radio wavelength(s)
of interest. If it isn't, no antenna gain for you.

sorry, i pasted wrong.

here are some that has antennas in them

either way, do you have any schottky diode & a trusted store that you can recommend? again, thank you so much

You are looking at fake You Tube videos from India and Pakistan. The authors make them so that each time somebody watches an ad at the beginning then the author gets paid by You Tube.

Hi,

This is a real energy harvester. Not perhaps what you want but worth the read for learning purposes. It's a great device.
