i need a replacement for ZXMP3A16G P-CHANNEL ENHANCEMENT MODE MOSFET,
very badly as i am using it for my final year project..
please help..
as i dont know much about analog ics

It is tricky to see a direct equivalent, mainly because the SOT223 isn't common at 7.5A. Similar devices, but not 7.5A would be NTF5P03T3G

Try a selector guide at somewhere like Farnell to find possible options:

& i can use any other transistor package too..

In which case just put the key parameters into the Farnell link above. Breakdown voltage, on resistance and current should get down to a reasonable number. If there are still too many then pick a few smallish packages to get rid of the oversized devices.
