I need a driver for LCD on Nu Horizons Spartan 3 (400)

Hi everybody,

I like to write something on LCD (Nu Horizons Spartan 3 Board) but it seems we need to write a driver for that first. Is anybody there has a Verilog program that I can use it as driver for this LCD? Any help about how we can write something on LCD on this board can help us. Thank You!

The LCD is probably a standard character LCD display.

If it's 44780-based, this is easily programmable via a micro-controler.

44780 support 2 lines per 40 characters. For 4-lines display, you usually see 2 chip-select.
