I have ERIC Drive EI-7001 Series AC inverter (VFD) displays the fault of GF (Grounding Fault) after 2 to 3 seconds as i try to increase the speed of the motor ?
The manual tells to check motor winding, motor connections & connection between motor & inverter, i have checked all of them infact i have changed the cable & connectors but the fault persists.
what might be the problem then ? Cause manual doesn't tell any other remedy other than these two, so what to do ?
The manual clarifies, that GF is only triggered by a massive fault current of 50% inverter rated current. This suggests
- defective motor
- wrong motor connection, e.g. star point wired erratically to P.E.
- defective inverter

1.
the motor wiring is exact as shown in picture
just a straight cable from VFD to motor
Ground wire is connected only to the motor frame
network, earth is supplied to the VFD
2.
Take the wires out from VFD
and test motor side U,V,W against GND
with insulation tester ( 500V...750V)
Do not connect tester to VDF side.

Have you checked that ground wire is connected only to the motor frame
not in motor star-point.

ya sure its connected properly to the motor fame only not in star or neither in delta point .....
i have checked the output voltages at U, V & W without the load (without the motor) varying from 0 volts to 410 V AC ......... when switching from 0 Hz Frequency to 57 Hz frequency .........
VDF Model Code is : EI-7001-005H , AC 440 V, 8A, Rated 5 HP (3.7 KW)
the input 3-phase supply cable & the output supply cables are both of same size 3 core cable of 2.5 mm*2 .
