nscd-2.3.2-27.9.7.i386.rpm

Hi,
I am facing a problems with IC5033.
When I open the icms, it always shows that
" /tools/cds5/tools/dfII/bin/32bit/libManager.exe relocation error : /tools/cds5/tools/lib/libvirtuos_sh.so: symbol errno, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file lib.so.6 with link time reference"
and I can not open the library manager. What's wrong with it?

Thanks a lot,
Mike

Have you set all the pathes you need?
Did you make the symbolic link for the tools?
Which linux version do you use? Maybee you have to install backward compatible libs!

I installed IC5033 in Redhat Linux 7.3 and upgraded to 9.0
I set the paths as follow

setenv PATH {$PATH}:/tools/cds5/tools.lnx86/bin
setenv PATH {$PATH}:/tools/cds5/tools.lnx86/dfII/bin
setenv PATH {$PATH}:/tools/cds5/tools.lnx86/plot/bin
setenv CDSDIR /tools/cds5
setenv CDS_ROOT /tools/cds5
setenv CDS_INST_DIR /tools/cds5
setenv CDS_INSTALL_DIR /tools/cds5/tools.lnx86/dfII
setenv CDS_Netlisting_Mode Analog
setenv LM_LICENSE_FILE /usr/local/flexlm/licenses/license.dat

do I need to add anything else?

You have to set a symolic link ( ln -s ./tools.lnx86 /tools). and change your .cshrc paths to those with symbolic link!

I didn't see rh9 is supported for ic50 in Cadence website !

Set the following environment variable. "export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1". you can put it in your .bashrc or type it at the command prompt before starting 'icfb'

me too
but I arealy can....
1. download the update package from web, the required the packages are,
glibc-2.3.2-27.9.7.i386.rpm
glibc-common-2.3.2-27.9.7.i386.rpm
glibc-debug-2.3.2-27.9.7.i386.rpm
glibc-devel-2.3.2-27.9.7.i386.rpm
glibc-profile-2.3.2-27.9.7.i386.rpm
glibc-utils-2.3.2-27.9.7.i386.rpm
nscd-2.3.2-27.9.7.i386.rpm
2. rpm -Uvh glibc*
rpm -Uvh nscd-2.3.2-27.9.7.i386.rpm

Hi,

Please use FC1 instead of RH9.
