Hysteresis loop in thermistor

How do we avoid hysteresis loop from affecting the linearization of the thermistor (by using log amplifier) in the voltage-temperature relation?
 

I'm not aware of significant hysteresis effects with usual thermistors. And if there would be hysteresis, it hasn't to do with linearization. What are you talking about?
