Hyperterminal troubleshooting

Hi,

I used hyperterminal to control GSM phone through AT commands. Phone is connected well. But I can not type on hyperterminal.
what are the reasons for this.

Also the response of the modem is also not displayed in terminal

Use Tera Term. That's much better.

You may have "Flow Control" set to Hardware but not have those lines connected. Try it with "Flow Control" set to None - it's under Port Settings
