Anyone here tried to create a HTREE + multi source cts for multiple clocks? Example you have generated_clk_1 that needs this distribution, then you have generated_clk_2 that is syncronous to clk_1..
a) When i dont specify and HTREE creation, it just does vanilla cts based on its understanding of my design (as seen in cdns clock tree spec file)
b) I was wondering if anyone has tries creating N Htrees with independent multi source htrees for a complex clocking architecture?
I could choose to do this ONLY on the ones that currently see very high latency, and leave the other N number of clocks for vanilla cts..but I'm curious to hear thoughts..
