hspice simulation environment: eval problem

Hi all,
I am trying to run a hspice file, but error exists in output log file:

**error** no definition for 402:eval
it was called by 402:eek:pdist
**error** unknown function definition for eval
it was called by 402:eek:pdist

the source of error is:
opdist = 'eval(psdist>0?psdist:(max(w,opndwmin) + 0.4e-6))'

what does it means? it means hspice can not read function eval? what can i do with this problem?If anyone knows the solution please share.
