HP G6 laptop Has no power no lights

After I took the unit apart to clean the fan. I made sure all the plugs were attached on the board and everything was secure, but when I went to turn it on there was nothing, no lights just dead as can be. I tried discharging the board by holding down the on off switch, with and without the battery in it and still nothing. If any1 has any suggestion, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
 

yes,laptop is very complicated i use a pen and paper to mark plugs position and look for miniature switches that can change position try reopening the machine and start afresh anyway good luck.
 


You must not have did that.. Be very careful while handling laptops and try to note down most details.. Even I did same mistake earlier

I remember that I got the same problem last year. At that time I thought that the problem was the heat excess of the processor due to dirt and dust.
I discovered later that it was the charger the cause of this problem.
