HP 4N54 clock of own construction

This is the second version of clock presented HERE. The main change is new housing – made of red plexiglass with dimensions of 9cm x 12cm. Red color of the plexiglass makes the displays more readable. The fact, that the PCB is visible from behind the plexiglass is expected. PCB of the clock is not screwed to the plexiglass, it is just pushed into specially milled holes (guides) in the housing. Thus, if you need to get to the buttons, just push the PCB a little, and it ejects to the side and that easy way you can have the full access to the buttons.
You can design the PCB using free program – ExpressPCB. Then make the board in thermal transfer method. This project includes some SMD components and a small converter:
