How we can test if IC5 Cadence is completely installed?

cadense ic5 problem

hello all

how we can test ic5 cadence that it is completely installed or not?
I installed ic5 in suse linux but now it doesnot know any of its libraries
and when I push browse button it hangs.what can I do?
please help me? I really need it.

Did you set environement variables such as CDSHOME...

Perhaps you have not made the 1icense active.
When it is, the software just can not edit and some commands are not be used.

You need to set up the IC env in your c-shell

before you can start the soft. and after everything

is done, u can check your license by click:

Options -> License in the CIW menu to check out

how many and what license you have installed in

]your system. Hope it's helps...

you can go to the cadence installed dir/install/pkgs,if any package is installed correctly,there must be show something ok,such as virtuosoReg01.00-d001lnx86.ok
