spice explorer adc toolbox

hello, everyone

there is a ADC toolbox in spice explorer

can you tell me how to use it?

best regards!

adc netlist

Hi,

there are 2 ways to use,

1) connect a ideal DAC block to your ADC netlist(o/p of ADC given to ideal DAC)
simulate the ckt. now you will have A2D converted signal and corresponding D2A signal.

i.e analog --> A2D(digital bits) -->D2A(reconstructed analog signal)

plot the results of d2A, drag and drop this reconstructed signal to box next to signal under input parameters of toolbox.

give u r sampling rate(fs), input freq(fin).

then under dc analysis, select fitting method, then click eval. dc.

same for next analysis also.

now u can see the results under results window and plot them..

2) in spite of using ideal d2a, u can use d2a tool box in the same tool. rest are same.

thanks,
