Hi,

Does Xbee supports RS 432/RS 485.

If it is then how i can interface it.
And if it is not, then what is other option for wireless communication for the same protocol.

Thanks

Re: Xbee and Rs432/RS485

Hi nagabhargavamrita

u can use 232 protocol na it works good in Xbee

But my exiting system had only these two protocols. To change in to RS232 it is very difficult.
That's why i want RS432/RS485.

Thanks

You can interface RS485 via UART and a couple of IOs. All you need is an RS485 driver like MAX485, or SN65HVD3082.

Interface - RS-485 - SN65HVD3082E - TI.com

Hope that helped.
