hi,

there are two systems on has operating voltage of 24v and other has 12v
now voltage from 24v system is to be given to 12v system
but we we need to give 12v as input
how is it possible using relay

thanks
Rakesh

A relay is not going to solve your problem. You need a voltage regulator, voltage divider, or something else to drop the voltage.

Do you mean as signal or as power source (I mean do you refer to a supply line)?

If it's just a signal and you need isolation you can use an optocoupler.
If you don't need isolation you can use a resistive divider, a transistor, a mosfet

Thanks for the reply !

what are the uses of relay ?
and how to use ?

basically I know that it can be used as switch
it has NO,NC contact.

thanks

I hope you are sharing signals between a 12V system & 24V System. If isolation not required, the attached schematic may be useful. It you need isolation, then you have to use opto coupler. Relay circuits are slow in operation, required more power, noisy but can handle more power...
