I don't think there is any options in Hercules can make you read in GDS to milkyway, but you can alwasy read it into LTL format.

example:
gdsin myGDS.gds LTLName.lib

If you really want to make the data into milkyway, then, you could use the stream in function provided by Cosmos, Apollo, or Astro

hi,

I think hercules can't translate gds into milkyway database.
Hercules only have net reference, cell instance reference and text information.
You can use Astro stream in gds to generate milkyway database.(cell view and fram view)

hi,

You can use "hercules -rcxt runsetfile" command to generate ext view.
You can use Milkyway to see ext view.
