220vac wireless transfer

hi

i want to begin in a research in wireless power transfer and how can trasmitte a 220vac between two point whatever the distance is needed to do this .

i think that it is possible if the 220vac wave ( sine wave) is converted to microwave from transmitted point and converted back to 220vac at reciver point this my idea about this subject

so if there are any one have any ideas or usefull links any one can i talk with him in this subject i will be thanks

thanks agin

Re: 220vac wireless transfer

It's believed that the USSR used to do this to power/recharge their bugs in the US - or was it the other way around?

Anyway, I wouldn't like to get in the way of the beam. ouch!

Have you seen these links?

Also try searching/asking NASA - they have done a lot of work on this.

Re: 220vac wireless transfer

This is an old idea. The problem is the efficiency of the power conversion at both ends. The other is concentrating the "beam" so that it is nearly 100% collected at the receiving end. I think that solar cells at the receiving end pointed at the sun would be more efficient and lower cost.

220vac wireless transfer

...Or you can dig little bit and reach Earth magma's 6-10 K C

The only practical wireless power transfer usage i have seen was contactless mobile phone charger .

Anyway, good luck !!!
