How to test the maximum speed of a device for embedded tcp/ip?

I have designed and programmed a device for embedded tcp/ip which supports http, icmp,telnet applications. it is connected via ethernet to my computer. how can test it's maximum speed? is there any softwares that I can use?

you could implement iperf to measure the throughput of your TCP packets.
I think there is a similar tool for http, but I never used it. It is mainly measuring the respond time
