How to test a IRF P240N ( HEXFET Power MOSFET ) with a DMM ?

Should it have infinite resistance readings between Gate & Drain And Gate or Source for both forward & reverse biase ......... ??

thanks

Yes, should have.

but what across Drain & Source ?

Set the DMM on Diode Range and then measure all the 6 readings out of which 5 are infinite (high) and 1 is finite (low) ???

Both MOSFET & POWER MOSFET of any kind have the same testing procedure ?

why analog meter is more reliable and better for testing any kinda MOSFET ?
