How to speed up Emule download speed?

hi every body i have emule
it is very nice share programme but it is too slow in downloading
my max download speed is 10k
i have Low ID i have opened ports in my firewall

Maybe you have modem router it also have firewall you have
to open it for eMule.
You also need to assign more then 10Kb for uploading

If you have a router, in order to obtain a high id you have to forward your ports as explained in portforward.com. see common ports link and choose emule then your router from the list.

Note that you also have to assign a static ip for yor pc. This also explained in portforward.com.
