I need to solve differential equations with initial conditions. I type the following into the Maple, however, I was told ERROR. Does Maple accept differential equations in symbolic form? How can I solve this problem?

Your light is sincerely appreciated.

sys:={diff(x1(t),t)=(x2(t)-x1(t))/(c1*r1),diff(x2(t),t)=(x1(t)-x2(t))/(c2*r1)+(x3(t)-x2(t))/(c2*r2),diff(x3(t),t)=(x2(t)-x3(t))/(c3*r2)+(x4(t)-x3(t))/(c3*r3),diff(x4(t),t)=(x3(t)-x4(t))/(c4*r3)};

sol:= dsolve( {sys, x1(0)=0,x2(0)=1,x3(0)=1,x4(0)=1}, x4(t));
