I am planning to debug Nokia's serial port commands, I want to sniff signal coming in and out of the serial port, is their any software that can do it? I am not looking for a terminal software.

I am looking for a software that will function in the said given example:

PC running Nokia Phone Manager, Phone is connected to PC, then I will be running this software to see what is going on.

Thanks.

The FBUS protocol is well documented. Take a look at **broken link removed**

sniff serial

I know it is documented but I do not think that it is indeed a good documentation.

This topic was discussed many times on board.

Free software sniffer tools include PortMon from www.sysinternals.com and LGComSpy++ from **broken link removed**
