Hello guys......
how do i simulate cmrr in spice?? can i get a plot of cmrr vs freq?? plz reply asap.
thank u.....

cmrr spice

Hi,

h**p://www.ecircuitcenter.com/OpModels/CMR/Op3_CMR.htm

Replace * by t

simulate cmrr + pspice

If you say inverting input is Vin and non-inverting input is Vnin, then

Vin <IN> <OUT> AC <amplitude> sin(0 0 1)
Vnin <NIN> 0 AC <same amplitude> sin (0 0 1)

.ac dec 10 1 10G

This should help you....

cmrr pspice

Thanks srivatsan,
but this works only for a few circuits. In all the other circuits i am getting gmin errors......
Plz do tell me what's wrong. without the changes which u said i dont get any gmin errors in these circuits and they work fine.
thanks once again.

hspice .ac cmrr

The above mentioned methods are incomplet. Two terms of CMRR exist: systematic and random. To simulate random CMRR you must perform Monte Carlo analysis as random CMRR arises from mismatches between signal paths in your amplifier.

This is a very common "newby error". When you simulate the CMRR of an amplifier without considering the mismatch effect, it is common to obtain CMRRs of more than 90dB. Now, when you add mismatch, the CMRR substantially decreases.

how to find cmrr in pspice

How do we add the mismatch during the CMRR simulation ?
