Hi, all:

I am a fresh man to design analog circuit, and now I use Cadence IC to simulate circuit.

Now I have some questions:
1. how to simulate corner?
2.when will we use the following simulations:
Envelope Following Analysis (envlp)
Circuit Information (info)
Immediate Set Options (options)Periodic AC Analysis (pac)
Periodic Distortion Analysis (pdisto)
Periodic Noise Analysis (pnoise)
Periodic S-Parameter Analysis (psp)
Periodic Steady-State Analysis (pss)
Periodic Transfer Function Analysis (pxf)
Spectre Circuit Simulator Reference
Quasi-Periodic AC Analysis (qpac)
Quasi-Periodic Noise Analysis (qpnoise)
Quasi-Periodic S-Parameter Analysis (qpsp)
Quasi-Periodic Steady State Analysis (qpss)
Quasi-Periodic Transfer Function Analysis (qpxf)
Deferred Set Options (set)
S-Parameter Analysis (sp)
Stability Analysis (stb)
Sweep Analysis (sweep)
Time-Domain Reflectometer Analysis (tdr)

I know dc. ac and tran simulation, but when will I use those simulations mentioned above?

How to simulate

for question 1 : if you use spectre, add lib section tt ss sf fs or ff to simulate corners; similar with Hspice.

for question 2:dc ac tran and sweep are the most frequently used analysis. for other analysis type, you can refer to the user manual or have a disscusion here.
