How to setup a PDF writer as printer in Linux?

PDF printer in Linux

Many driver can setup a pdf writer as a printer driver under windows.
How to do it under Linux ? Does this tool exist ?

you can use openoffice, which pdf print function is better than some bussinize soft in windows.

Just install a Postscript printer, print to a file and use "ps2pdf" to convert it. ps2pdf is included in Ghostscript

Or try the CUPS printer driver system, it features Postscript and PDF if I'm not mistaking.

What Linux distribution are you using?
