Hello

It may seem a dumb question, but I am stuck with it

I need to plot the frequency response of the voltage across a capacitor in cadence analog environement
both ports of the capacitor are floating
analog environement gives mag(port+) and mag(port-) but not mag(port+ - port-)

so my question is how can I sense the voltage across the capacitor, is tehre any volt meter on cadence

Use the calculator: select the two node ports and put them into the calc. Then use subtraction (sign), and have this term plotted.
