Look in /lib. Your may be remove /lib from LD_LIBRARY_PATH.
if your shell /bin/ksh: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH export LD_LIBRARY_PATH

What's version of your solaris,32bit or 64bit?

It is solaris 8 64bit.
